2 vols., 8vo., Fourth Edition, with coloured frontispieces, coloured and monochrome plates, photographs in the text and pictorial endpapers; original series binding of blue faux-morocco, upper boards blocked and lettered in gilt and black, gilt backs, blue sprinkled edges, hinges tender (but bindings entirely sound), a very good, bright, clean set in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter moderately rubbed at edges. The set comprises: Vol. I: Families Sphingidae to Noctuidae; Vol. II: Families Noctuidae to Hepialidae. Bright set of one of the most successful of all W&W titles.
