Description
No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, foxed page edges and no bumping to corners. Slightly foxed dust jacket price clipped but not marked or torn or creased with tiny nicks to lower front edge and top of spine. 205pp. A fascinating true story from 1829 when a group of convicts being transported to the penal settlement of Van Diemen's Land (now known as Tasmania) mutinied and managed to sail the ship all the way to Japan and the South China Sea. They were later re-captured, some were hanged and some did eventually end up in Van Diemen's Land.
