Edited by the legendary Charles Henri Ford, who began publishing View in September 1940, as a six page tabloid titled 'View - Through the Eyes of Poets'. Foreword by Paul Bowles. Introduction by Catrina Illustrated throughout in black & white, with some color: several pages of View covers. Contributions by dozens of well known artists and writers taken from the pages of View magazine. Bibliography. 10" high X 9" wide, 287 pages.
