First edition, early impression. 40 tipped-in color plates by Arthur Rackham as well as black and white drawings throughout. Quarto, original cream cloth lettered in gilt on spine and decorated in gilt on upper cover. 134 pp. A handsome and pleasing copy, internally quite clean, the plates and tissue guards all in good order, the cream cloth quite handsome with the gilt and binding strong and bright with only very minor evidence of age, an old shelf label mark to the lower part of the spine panel, endpapers refreshed.
