Name to front end paper. No other marks or inscriptions to contents. No creasing to covers, crease down spine. A clean very tight copy with bright olive cloth boards, very minor rubbing to spine ends and no bumping to corners. Possibly an oil mark to top of page edges and (scarcely visible - see image) to upper front cover. Otherwise in near fine condition. Pull-out map at rear and two other large fold-out charts in the text all in excellent condition. 623pp. In-depth study of Britain, its industry, life, agriculture and in particular the development of its Free Trade and Steel during the later 19th century. Large fold out map in pocket at rear showing Distribution of the Occupations of the People. Two other fold-out maps show Railways and Canals/Waterways.
