Oblong 4to., Second Edition, with frontispiece and numerous illustrations and detailed drawings in the text; grey cloth, gilt back, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter with gatefold plan on reverse. Revised version (with gatefold plan) of the original edition of 1990. Published in Conway's valuable 'Anatomy of the Ship' series featuring probably the most detailed drawings ever produced for historical naval publications. Includes full descriptions of the alterations effected for her role as blockship at St. Nazaire.
