Description
120 x 52 mm. 2 lines. Reader's ticket for the manuscript collection of the British Museum, ordering "Maturin's Universe". Although the famous blank verse poem "The Universe" was published in 1821 under the name of the Irish novelist and playwright Charles Maturin, the author was in fact the Irish poet James Wills (1790-1868). - With a tear to the lower left corner.
