Description
This is a very good hardcover copy in white paper-covered boards illustrated with a purple and gold design, purple cloth spine, gilt letters, with just light wear. A little wear to corners and edges. Top right corner of text bumped. This is the 'special English edition' prepared by Editoriale Domus of this work first published in 1950. There is a 27 page English summary of Carrieri's text. Otherwise the rest of the text is in Italian and reproduces the earlier edition. 401 black & white illustrations + color plates. 13" high X 10" wide, 318 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
