No marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked slightly sunned red cloth boards with cream vellum spine and margins, gilt on red leather title to spine, dusty top of page edges, lovely red marbled end papers and no bumping to corners. 564pp. Thirteen tales from the 16th century, Bandello having been born in 1480. Broadway translations. The original translated work was published in 1567. Undated ca 1925.
