No marks or inscriptions. A lovely clean very tight copy with bright unmarked purple cloth boards and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased. 176pp. Biography of and example of the work of fashion visionary in footwear Beth Levine. Sh popularized mules, stilettos and fashion boots long before the likes of Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin came along. Born in 1914 she revolutionised fashion footwear including producing noon boots and shoes to commemmorate the moon landing in 1969. Includes probably a hundred of her designs in full-page colour images from 1952 to 1971.
