Description
No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and very minor bumping to two corners. The colour of the front and rear boards is quite different, the rear being the same green as the jacket and the front being a peach colour. This is clearly a feature created by the publisher as the tiny internal wrap-over parts of the front are also a peach colour. Dust jacket not price clipped with slight marking to upper rear edge, foxing to rear and slight rubbing/sunning mainly around spine. 48pp. Britain in Pictures series. The author, the Assistant Director at Kew, describes Britain as 'the best botanised country in the world' and he uses his knowledge and experience to describe it here.
