B., - Preface - List of illustrations - Chapter I. - XXVIII 21x13,5 cm., legatura in piena pelle, fregi e titoli in oro, su tassello, tagli fregiati, margini legatura con piccolo fregio in oro, pp. XVI, 631, 33 illustrazioni in bianco nero su tavole fuori testo, tra cui Ground plan of Peninsula of Carthage, più volte ripiegata, altre carte e piante ripiegate, alcune tavole a colori, alcune protette da velina; prima edizione inglese; difetti: gore più o meno ampie su alcune tavole, sulle veline e sulle pagine vicine, qualche pagina con piccole fioriture e piccole abrasioni ai margini della legatura, piccolo strappo interno dorso-sguardia, altri normali segni d'uso e tempo, discreto esemplare
