One of the things Anthony du Boulay did with this book was to establish price ranges for many of the different types of Chinese ceramics, based on a lifetime of professional involvement in the trade, both at Christies, Geneva and after that as an independant art consultant. This was back in the early 1980's before the internet. Still a remarkable acheivement and it remains a valuable book to consult. Bibliography.
