A PRESENTATION COPY FROM THE AUTHOR WITH HIS SIGNED HOLOGRAPH INSCRIPTION ON FRONT FREE ENDPAPER. Detailed account of the Jersey fort built initially to withstand Napoleon but garrisoned with regulars until 1932.
