A remarkably clean copy with tight binding and endpapers in bright brick color. ; This early edition of the Murray's Guide includes a fold-out map of the New Houses of Parliament and a map of the Tower of London as well as a ground plan of Westminster Abbey. The sights are in alphabetical order, similar to recently printed Baedekers. The 2nd edition was published one year after the first and was enlarged.
