Una stupenda carrellata nell'arte pittorica italiana dall'antica paleocristiana ai naturalisti del XVII secolo. Viaggio che accompagnato, oltre che da esauriente descrizione scritta, da una doviziosa e deliziosa messe iconografica. Davvero ininfluenti le mende, in pi che bello stato, assolutamente apprezzabile e non facilmente reperibile.
