8vo., First Edition, with original photographic print toned in sepia mounted as frontispiece, 16 coloured plates and 10 plates in monochrome, half-title and frontispiece verso lightly spotted, some very minor marginal spotting to a few leaves; black cloth, upper board blocked and lettered in gilt and regimental colours, gilt back, black endpapers, uncut, a very good, bright, clean copy. The frontispiece is of the regimental mascot Billy the Goat. The coloured plates comprise 1 of colours and 15 of uniforms. SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION. Sutcliffe, p. 147; White, p. 75.
