A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and no bumping to corners. 152pp. Naas in Kildare, Ireland was for centuries the meeting place of the Kings of Leinster whilst its inhabitants lived in their shadow. This detailed study of Naas's social history tells of the beginnings of social housing in the town which gradually replaced the private, poorly built cottages which had no modern amenities.
