This is a very good hardcover copy of the first edition of the author's survey of old rural Tuscan architecture. Completely clean inside and out. Text in Italian. Illustrated throughout in black & white. The first section of illustrations are drawn from 15th and 16th century Italian painting. Then the photographic survey begins with the oldest surviving examples of farm and rural residential buildings. Map. Bibliography. 12" high X 10" wide, 130 pages.
