This is a fine hardcover copy with no wear. Completely clean. Text in Spanish and Catalan. Jules Ainaud (1837-1900) was a practically unknown photographer who worked for J.Laurent & Cia., founded in Madrid in 1856. He took these photographs of Catalonia in 1871-72. This exhibition brings together around one hundred albumen prints and is the first public exposition of Jules Ainaud's work. This monograph was prepared to accompany the exhibition held at the Centro de FotografÌa KBr, Barcelona, Spain, from June 8 to September 3, 2023. Illustrated mostly in sepia, some black & white.
