A beautiful livre d'artiste illustrated with 16 ORIGINAL COLOR LITHOGRAPHS (4 double-page, 11 full-page, and one in-texte) and 33 reproduced drawings (printed in pink) by Gabriel Dauchot. This copy, furthermore, features A STUNNING FULL-PAGE ORIGINAL WATERCOLOR BY DAUCHOT ON THE HALF-TITLE, SIGNED BY DAUCHOT and inscribed to M. Renaud. From a total edition of 215 numbered copies, this is one of only 120 copies on extremely fine Rives wove paper, signed by Dauchot under the justification. Folio. Loose as issued in original wraps. FINE AND BRIGHT, WITH NO DEFECTS. Housed in the original cloth folding case (lightly worn). An outstanding copy of Dauchot's best book.
