8vo., First Edition, with a frontispiece and 8 plates; blue cloth, gilt back, blue top, backstrip faded (but all lettering entirely legible), a very good, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter worn and frayed at edges, and wanting backstrip. The trials and travels of the captain of HMS Foxglove plus some morale boosting tales. After Dunkirk he took part in the Perim patrol. Scarce. Enser, p.383; Law, 0742.
