With a portrait frontispiece and 43 plates from black and white photographs by the author, also with a large folding map of South Africa printed in black and red. 8vo, publisher’s original brown cloth, the upper cover lettered and with pictorial vignette in gilt, lettered in gilt on the spine. xxxiv, 663, [2 ads]. A very nice copy, internally fine, the binding quite handsome with bright gilt. This copy from the Munger Africana Library with their unobtrusive blind-stamp to the lower portion of the title-page.
