A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and no bumping to corners. 112pp. The explosive tale of the Peterloo Massacre in Manchester in 1819, vividly illustrated and told verbatim through the voices of those who were actually there. A very powerful account, told in colour drawings with captions showing the actual words alongside the name of each person to whom the words were attributed. Over 15 people died and 600 were severely wounded by sabre-wielding troops at a peaceful pro-democracy rally.
