Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn with minor creasing to upper corners 173pp. A comprehensive overview of the history of the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom, one of the outstanding aircraft in many of the Western World's air forces during the 1960s and 1970s. This study looks particularly at the experiences of the Royal Air Force and the Fleet Air Arm when they received a new model designed with a British Rolls-Royce turbofan instead of the original American power plant.
