Doughty with testimonials and an order form is tipped onto page 434 as called for. With 16 black and white illustrations including six by Eric Kennington and three by Augustus John , and a large folding map at rear. Tall 8vo, publisher's original tan polished buckram lettered in gilt on spine, in the scarce original dustjacket. 444 pp., inclusive of index. An unusually fresh, bright and excellent copy, the tissue guard at the front is present.
