Offical regulations manual of sword exercises for the cavalry, authorised by King George III for use throughout the Cavalry Corps, covering details from the basic sword stroke whilst on horseback to the most complicated maneuvres. - Binding rubbed and bumped, spine chipped with large defects, upper cover loosened. Occasional light duststaining to interior, otherwise fine. From the collection of Thomas Fremantle, 3rd Baron Cottesloe (1862-1956), commander of the Territorial Army and president of the Society for Army History Research.
