This monograph was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Judisches Museum in Berlin from November 7, 2008 to February 8, 2009. Ruth Jacobi (1899- 1995) was the sister of Lotte Jacobi the well known photographer of Berlin in the 1920's and 30's. In 2004 Aubrey Pomerance the chief archivist at the Jewish Museum in Berlin learned that a trove of Ruth Jacobi's photographs was in the posession of a relative in Mission Viejo, California. In 2005 Mr. Pomerance arranged for the museum to acquire much of the collection, some 800 prints and 3,000 negatives. The present exhibition contains around 70 of Ruth Jacobi's photographs all in black & white. 9" high X 8" wide, 131 pages. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.
