Book in mint condition. Unpaginated. 80pp. Reprint of the volume originally printed to mark the occasion of the visit of King George V to Ashton-under-Lyne in Lancashire in 1913. Contents include a history of the town and some of its major employers and a wealth of period photographs and drawings of the town and its worthies plus many early twentieth century advertisements for local firms and products as well as some for nearby Dukinfield and Manchester.
