First Edition. 8vo, in the printer's original gray boards, lettered on paper labels on the spines as called for, with each volume now housed in an individual slipcase, each with wraparound chemise, the slipcases with raised bands gilt tooled, compartments with gilt panel work and central devices gilt, lettered and decorated in gilt on red morocco labels. 310; 325; 323, [4 ads] pp. A very well preserved and handsome set with only minor evidence of age. The text-blocks and bindings all in good order.
