8vo., First Edition thus, with a frontispiece, title in red and black, and 15 plates; original decorative cloth gilt, gilt back, gilt top, uncut, black endpapers, upper board mildly age-marked, upper hinge starting (but binding entirely sound), a very good, bright, clean copy. Juvenilia and other uncollected pieces assembled by Thackeray's biographer. Very uncommon in this first edition.
