Raccolta, quasi completa, dell'epistolario dell'erudito Horace Walpole, Quarto Conte di Orford (Londra, 24 settembre, 1717 – Londra, 2 marzo, 1797), amico fraterno di Thomas Gray con cui tra il 1739 e il 1741 compì il "grand tour" in Italia e in Francia.
