Interessante opera (quarta edizione, la prima è del 1914) sulla coltura delle rose nel territorio americano. Tra gli argomenti trattati: breve storia delle rose, le migliori varietà e caratteristiche, enuncia inlotre le maggiori difficoltà della coltura, dovute al fatto che la pianta è particolarmente soggetta ad attacchi dei più svariati parassiti, la potatura (per la formazione dei rosai) e i luoghi più adatti per la messa a dimora. Ottimo esemplare, assai belle le 96 cromolitografie, parzialmente in barbe.<BR>
