This is a fine softcover copy without any wear at all. Completely clean. This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Christie's Geneva on November 12, 1987. The single lot in the sale was the famous Sarah Bernhardt Snake Bracelet designed by Alfons Mucha and executed by Georges Fouquet in 1899 in Paris. It has been called the most historically important jewel of the art nouveau period. Illustrated in color. Lengthy entry. This piece was first exhibited in Paris at the Exposition Universelle in 1900, and then in 1906 in Milan. Bibliography. 10" high X 8" wide, 22 pages.
