Description
Oblong 4to., with very numerous photographs in the text; cloth, a near fine copy in the dustwrapper. An analysis of the tank battle in which 7th Armoured Division (the Desert Rats) took on German panzers and were heavily defeated. The text bases its arguments on photographs taken in the aftermath and the testimony of German tank ace Michael Wittmann (whose grave was discovered during research for Lefevre's 'Panzers in Normandy' from the same publisher).
