8vo., First Edition, with a coloured frontispiece and 18 monochrome plates on 16 some mild spotting (rather heavier on title and last few leaves, neat signature on front free endpaper; original black cloth, gilt back, a very good, firm copy. The letters are those of Captain Strange Jocelyn serving with the Scots Fusilier Guards. Includes a bibliography. Turan 485.
