The Cosmographia by Sebastian Münster (1488-1552), a German cartographer and cosmographer, was one of the most successful and popular books of the 16th century. It passed through 24 editions in 100 years, and was most important in reviving geography in 16th-century Europe, being the most valued of all cosmographies. - In very good condition, with some very slight overall discoloration; map of the Americas shows unobtrusive rust mark.
