Incisione tratta dal celebre Pictorum aliquot celeberium praecipue Germaniae Inferioris, magnifica raccolta di ritratti edita da Hendric Hondius a Den Haag, nel 1610 circa. ' L’opera consta di 69 ritratti dei principali esponenti della pittura fiamminga, olandese e tedesca. Le incisioni al bulino sono opera principalmente di Simon Frisius, anche se alcune sono firmate dallo stesso Hondius ed altre da Andries Stock e Robert de Baudous. ' Bellissima prova, impressa su carta vergata coeva, rifilata al rame, applicata, su un lato, su un antico supporto di collezione, in ottimo stato di conservazione.
