Bulino, 1563, siglato con il monogramma B, in basso a sinistra nell’immagine. Bell’esemplare, impresso su carta vergata coeva, senza la didascalia latina in basso, rifilato alla linea marginale; molto buono lo stato di conservazione. Tavola 13 della serie di 26 tavole relative al mito di Giasone e il Vello d’oro incise da René Boyvin da disegni di Leonard Thiry. Nel 1563 vennero pubblicate due edizioni della serie: una con titolo latino “Historia Iasonis Thessaliae principis de Cochica” e didascalie in latine, e l'altra in francese (Livre des la conquete de la Toison d'or par le prince Jason de Tessalie).Ciascuna scena è inquadrata da una cornice ornata; nella parte inferiore del foglio – qui mancante – era stampata – da una lastra diversa, la relativa didascalia, in latino o in francese, con la numerazione sequenziale della tavola. Each scene is framed by an ornate border, the caption below is inscribed in a cartouche and printed from a separate plate.The set was published in 1563 and it was preceded by a letterpress text: privilege, dedication to the King, and four pages on the story of Jason. Two editions were issued at the same time: a Latin edition, with a Latin title "Hystoria Iasonis Thessaliae Principis de Cochica." and Latin captions; and a French edition, with a French title "Livre des la conqueste de la Toison d'or par le prince Jason de Tessalie."
