La Natività

Acquaforte su ferro, monogrammata in lastra in alto al centro. Esemplare nel secondo stato di tre con il numero 12 aggiunto in alto a sinistra. Magnifica prova, particolarmente nitida e contrastata, impressa su carta vergata priva di filigrana, rifilata al rame o con sottilissimi margini, in ottimo stato di conservazione. Questo lavoro deriva dall’analogo capolavoro inciso al bulino dal Durer, rispetto al quale è in controparte. Timbro di collezione al verso di J. H. von HEFNER ALTENECK (1811-1903).
