Bella tavola litografica disegnata e litografata da André Durand nel 1842, pubblicata a Parigi dai fratelli Gihaut. André Durand, (1807-1867) disegnatore e litografo molto apprezzato, ed esperto di archeologia venne spinto dall’entusiasmo del ' principe russo Anatole Demidoff. Oltre alla serie di litografie della Russia, Durand realizzò, un album con 18 litografie di scorci pittoreschi dell’Isola d’Elba (in collaborazione con Eugène Ciceri); alcune con il Museo Napoleonico fondato dal principe Demidoff. André Durand, (1807-1867) a highly regarded draughtsman and lithographer, and an expert on archaeology was prompted by the enthusiasm of Russian Prince Anatole Demidoff. In addition to the series of lithographs of Russia, Durand produced, an album with 18 lithographs of picturesque views of Elba Island (in collaboration with Eugène Ciceri); some featuring the Napoleonic Museum founded by Prince Demidoff.
