Incisione in rame su due lastre, compl. 370 x 1021 cm. I/II stato (in basso a destra la scritta Georg Balthasar Probst, haeres Ierem: Wolfy exc. Aug Vind). Acquarellatura probabilmente d'epoca. In alto a destra, entro grande nastro "VENETIA". Sotto a sinistra: F. B. Wernr delin.". Friedrich Bernhard Werner (1690-1776) disegnatore e pittore. Eseguita su disegno del Werner è una seconda edizione della veduta edita da Georg Balthasar Probst nel 1730. Le uniche differenze sono nella traduzione in tedesco e latino dei rimandi, inseriti in questa nuova edizione e nella disposizione di alcune imbarcazioni in primo piano. Iohan Friedrich ereditò l'attività dal padre Georg, che a sua volta l'aveva ereditata da Geremia Wolff. Moretto n 156; Schulz (1970) n 193; Cassini (1971) n 79. Executed on a drawing by Werner is a second edition of the veduta published by Georg Balthasar Probst in 1730. The only differences are in the German translation and of the references, inserted in this new edition and in the arrangement of some boats in the foreground.
