Hardcover without dust jacket. 8vo. [5], vi, [1], 2-313pp, (2 pages of publisher's advertisements). Original green pebbled buckram cloth with double stamped ruling in center and another around perimter of front - slightly raised bands on spine with bright gilt lettering and lining on spine. Brown coated endpapers and pastedowns. Second issue with the errata leaf bound in. Board edges are rubbed and worn, spine ends and corners are scuffed, spine with a lean. Hinge breaks at front and rear pastedowns, foxed bookplate to front pastedown. Tear to leading edges of title page and contents page, worn corners of most lower leading corners throughout and pencilled biography to REP. All other contents clean and unmarked. AD Used
