At Villa M. in Zedelgem, he converted an overgrown farmhouse garden into an inhabitable enclosed structure, and in 1996, he transformed a dairy farm in Eekio, Belgium into an office building. This book includes an essay by Bekaert, a conversation between Beel, Mil de Kooning, and Verschaffel, and a complete list of Beel's work.
