No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and with bumping to upper corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or rubbed with very slight creasing to upper corners. 150pp. An account from the working-class parish of St Michael's in the centre of Derby in the First World War. The experiences of the men from the parish who had signed up and then sent letters home were published throughout the War in the parish magazine. Many of these are reprinted here along with biographical details of the combatants.
