Original printed boards. = Deals with the anthropology, and in particular the great variety in hair types, of tribes in the former Dutch East Indies. Published on behalf of the Koninklijke Akademie van Wetenschappen (Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences) in their Verhandelingen (Volume 24). The last 34 pp. contain 17 tables. The peculiar plates show hand- and foot-prints and hair types. Boards a bit soiled, small label on the front board; otherwise a very good, clean, complete copy. Rare. Nissen ZBI, 4800.
