8vo. 2 pp. on bifolium. To Robert Hume Middlemass of Westbarns, agreeing to give lessons in astronomy: "I shall be very happy to give your friend's son instruction in Astronomy. At present I have only the Saturday in each week disengaged. On which day I could give one lesson of one and a half hour's duration. If agreeable to you. I would call upon you on Saturday next at any hour you may appoint [.]". - Charles Henry Adams published on weather events and phenomena of the night sky in "the Literary Gazette", a meteorological journal in Edmonton. - Includes small collector's note. Some brownstaining and traces of old mounting on the verso.
