Léon Dorez, author of "Nouvelles recherches sur Michel-Ange et son entourage" (1918) complained that while researching his book, he was unable to find a copy of the "Carte Michelangiolesche inedite" in Paris, Florence, or Milan, because it was already "introuvable". Folio. In publisher's beautiful color patterned wraps, with paper label affixed to front cover. Minor wear to extremities, else UNCUT, FINE AND BRIGHT.
