This book has been published for the reason of Mine Art Gallery's turning 30 years old. In this book, the activities carried out through 30 years by Mine Art Gallery which is one of the important stops in the roadmap of Turkish Art History has been documented. This book consists of the exhibitions, conversations, catalogue texts and posters of exhibitions, bulletins, texts that took place in the press, photographs and videos which are formed through 30 years, which is only a little part of Mine Art Gallery's archive. Certainly, we had to make a selection between the numbers of sources. I think we showed the required sensitivity to ensure the integrity of the book while selecting the quoted documents precisely and carefully. This book is different than the routine books of history of art galleries. Because, this book explains the history of Mine Art Gallery through the artists who supported them in their foundation. It is very certain that squeezing all 30 years of an art gallery in to a book is very difficult. As a matter of fact, we couldn't. We could just include the main documentation. For the upcoming periods, Mine Art Gallery is targeting to publish more books drawing upon their rich archive and also wants to share their archive with the art lovers. Mine Art Gallery with its roadmap that continues for these nonstop 30 years, not only formed their own documentation, but also has brought an important archive for the Turkish art history. Publication of this book will carry meaning as an important source for many researchers, art writers, art critics and for all the people who are interested in art, and also will be an encouraging force for the other art galleries. 500 copies were printed.
