POLYSLAV publishes research articles that address the analysis and description of Slavic languages and literature and are of general interest to slavists. The present proceedings were delivered at the 23rd Polyslav conference which was held at the Faculty of Philology at the University of Blagoevgrad (Bulgaria) and contain 42 papers in six Slavic languages (Bulgarian, Polish, Russian, Serbian, Ukrainian and Slovak), three in English, and one in German. All 46 contributions are devoted to a vast variety of topics, including, for instance, the teachers� perspective on misspellings in teaching Polish as a foreign language, the contemporary language situation in Parcani (Moldova), critical discourse analysis regarding the migration crisis presented by Slovenian children�s literature, language transfer between Polish and Serbian, changes in the lexicon of the Russian language of the Perestroika period and emotional concepts in Slovak somatic Phraseology.
